Designed in collaboration with the National Association of Mold Professionals (NAMP), this course provides all the knowledge you need to become a NAMP-certified mold inspector. You'll learn to identify potential mold infestations in houses or other buildings. You'll gain an understanding of fungi and the potential health risks of toxigenic mold. We'll cover the inspection process in detail, including the necessary tools and personal protective equipment (PPE). You'll learn proper sampling methods, along with the testing procedures and legal requirements used by an AIHA certified lab. We'll discuss how to interpret lab results and ways to control mold infestations safely.
